Gur'la-ya, the Lurker in Doom-laden Shadows, is a Great Old One and is described to be a great shadow-beingwith two red, glaring eyes. It is said that he is able to transform the skull of his own victims in green glowing stones carved with strange symbols, but why he prefers this method of killing is unknown. It is speculated that Gur'la-ya is preparing a ritual, but requires vicitms with a rather "special" trait.
